Since then he has switched to the eTrex Legend HCx for the GPS, Cacheberry on the Blackberry, and GSAK to load both. His favorite hides are From Edmonton with Love (GC1VX7A) and lrae (GC1VX7R) which require cachers in two cities to work together to claim each of the caches. His musical taste includes the Arrogant Worms, Slim Dusty, and Weird Al. On television he enjoys watching the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Mythbusters.

"Always remember when you are putting trackables or swag items in caches that kids are often the first to open the container. I've found some items in local caches that I shudder to think of in the hands of a young child. Items such as pocket knives, box cutters and lighters are never good ideas for trade items or TB hitchhikers. Before you place something in a cache, ask yourself if you'd feel safe letting your kids (or someone else's kids) play with it or hold it."
