For the sixty-third edition of the GeoGearHeads The Bad Cop and DarrylW4 talk about some of the tools they carry as they go Geocaching. Some of the favorite items mentioned were the Telescoping Space Pen, Sharpie Mini Marker, Swiss Army Knife Super Tinker, and the Leatherman multitools. Referring back to the batteries on shows Beta.01 and Beta.02, they talked about using the PowerSkin PoP’n, Monoprice External Battery Pack and Charger, Energizer XP2000A, and Energizer Ultimate Lithium Batteries. Dry bags/cases were also suggested, including those from Overboard and Seattle Sports. A couple of bag mentioned were the PowerBag Backpack by Ful (reviewed on CAMR: PowerBag) and Timbuk2 Messenger Bags. They wrapped up with some accessories to take care of some minor pest issues on the trail; OFF! Botanicals Towelettes, OFF! Deep Woods Insect Repellent Towelettes, Benadryl Extra Strength Itch Relief Stick, and The Tick Key.

We also talked about the "GeoGearHeads 2013 Traveler Race" and its growing list of participants. There's still plenty of time to get more travelers into the race, share your tip, and have a chance to win a cool gift.
