ChrisOfTheNorthWest and
DarrylW4 tackle several subjects for the three hundred
sixteenth edition of the GeoGearHeads. First
L&N Railroad e-mailed about Sugru as strain relief on cables, the draw
on cables and charges, and ferrite beads on cables.
ChrisOfTheNorthWest mentioned that he 3D prints the Lightning Cable
Protector for his cables.
Eric and Virginia wrote in that they're using USB-C adapters to
avoid replacing cables. DarrylW4 talked about the news that
Powermat has given up to Qi. Then
Starkacher sent in audio about the Butler County Donut
Trail and Geotour. Then a
warning and news of a coming fix for iOS users. Plus a quick
overview of using QR Codes through
the camera app in iOS 11. Finally, GPSWorld posted "A grave
threat to GPS and GNSS" which could affect Geocachers and all
GPSR users.
The live video session from this Google+ Hangout On Air can be
