Listen to our interview with jeepin_idaho out of New York. He was previously interviewed on epsiode 86 of the Original Cache-A-Maniacs series, and hosts The 4x4 Podcast. He discusses geocaching in the military, the geocaching community in South Korea, and his adventures with off-roading. He caches with a Samsung Galaxy Nexus using the Geocaching.com Android App, and C:Geo. He also uses a Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx. His favourite hide in Korea is: Flight "Out Of" Control (GC1YV5F), and his oldest hide from 2002 is The Abyss formerly of the Vault Series (GCHW1R).

Listen to our interview with vante from Michigan. He started caching in October 2004, and reminisces about an earlier time in geocachings history, the changes in the sport, and those "ah ha!" moments. He started caching with the Garmin eTrex Legend, and now caches primarily with an iPhone 4S and a Garmin Oregon 550T. One of his favourite caches is the "Johnny's Cash" (GCJE17) virtual at Johnny Cash's gravesite.

The need for the beta tag starts slipping away in our sixth release as we've been able to clean up much of the production and received all the music for the show. We talked about Podcatching (downloading and listening to podcasts) this time with several software options and method for listening to those podcasts in the field. We referred to an article on Wikipedia as a good reference for software options which can be kept up-to-date. On the desktop we mentioned iTunes, Juice, and Zune. One multi-platform option to listen to podcasts is Stitcher. Android users might try BeyondPod, DoggCatcher, or . On iOS, podcatching options include Instacast, Podcaster, and Podcatcher. Bluetooth A2DP headsets were discussed, includings the BlueAnt T1, BlueAnt Q2, and Plantronics Voyager PRO HD mono headsets. Stereo headsets mentioned were the Plantronics BackBeat 903+, Motorola S10-HD, Motorokr S305, and Sennheiser MM 100. We also mentioned the iHome iDM12 and Jawbone Jambox, plus the Ford Sync and Toyota BLU Logic systems for cars.

Our fifth beta episode starts with feedback from Nighthawk700 about NeonGeo, then Geekboy.from.Illinois on using the zoomIt, and xpunkx of the "Geocaching Podcast" on exporting GPX files through Geosphere. Then we got into our main subject of memory cards with guest WitzEnd of "Caching in the Northwest." We also heard from DudleyGrunt about NativTxn's Diversified Cacher Contest.

Listen to our interview with DarrylW4 & Firefly03 from Michigan. They talk about how they started caching, and how they possess the log sheet from their first traditional cache: log which was "Friendship Altar" (GCKZFT). They also talk about their many signature items, and the importance of keeping your head up when out on the trails.

Firefly03 uses the Oregon 450. Her favourite hide is "SQ - Perrin" (GC153J3). Her favourite cache is "Game Shell (Presidential Series # 10)" (GC3541N). She reccomends that cachers go outside of their home regions to experiences caches in a different area. She would like to get a cache in every country on every continent in the world.

DarrylW4 uses a variety of devices including an iPhone, Garmin GPSMAP 62st, Delorme, and Magellan eXplorist GC. DarrylW4's favourite hide is "First Geo Saving & Loan: Troy Branch" (GCV07Z). He recommends the trilogy: "Groundspeak Headquarters" (GCK25B), "Original Stash Tribute Plaque" (GCGV0P), "Mission 9: Tunnel Of Light" (GC1169). He would like to travel to Australia and New Zealand.
