GeoGearHeadsscottberks (of "Geocaching Podcast") joins The Bad Cop and DarrylW4 to discuss live streaming of geocaching adventures for the two hundred eighth edition of the GeoGearHeads. Some of the live streaming apps discussed were Periscope, Meerkat, Katch (this archives live feeds from the previous two but doesn't stream live), UStream, Facetime, Hangouts, and Skype. coon&bud submitted the "Periscope Marketing Tips From Broadcast Pros" article and asked a couple questions (Darryl mentioned his Foneso Extendable Selfie-portrait Aluminum Monopod Stick in response to one of those). Mark of the "Oh Beep!" podcast shared a couple of blog posts titled "More Tips For Periscoping and Geocaching" and "Tips for Periscoping and geocaching." Darryl referred to the Gizmdo post "Meerkat and Periscope Can Really Chew Through Your Precious Data" about the data usage of these apps. Scott talked about Periscoping from the "Martin-Baker" (GC2PW84) geocache in an F-14. Then the Periscope accounts for the panel are;

GeoGearHeadsSonny of Podcacher joins The Bad Cop and DarrylW4 for the two hundred sixth edition of the GeoGearHeads. The selection of topics kicked off with the "UTC to retain leap second at least until 2023." Next up – discussion about the stress-test of Project-GC which can yield some lucky users with memberships. Feedback from ChrisRG and Billy Robson about GGH204 brought up several excellent points. There were also a couple articles – "ESA Declares Galileo 7 and 8 Fully Operational" and "Galileo 11 and 12 mission to launch Dec. 17" – about the continuing rollout of Galileo. Astronut shared the interesting goTenna device which allows for messaging and location sharing without data service. Finally Subwaymark submitted a few discussion topics to mull over.

GeoGearHeadsFor the two hundred fifth edition of the GeoGearHeads DarrylW4 talks with MrV about Munzee's games other than their flagship. Most of the attention went to their latest addition – Wallabee. They're funding much of the improvements through a Kickstarter campaign. MrV mentioned SkipOkane (who was in the Live Q&A) and his "Skip's Lists" which include valuable information like "Stuff To Try." They also talked about the Eventzee photo scavenger hunt game and the new Runzee game on iOS and Android.
Darryl plugged the coming Cache And Release Podcaster Extravaganza. Watch live for special prizes and to see The Bad Cop and DarrylW4 with the hosts from several other shows on December 13th.
