Wet_Coaster also emailed about a situation his wife (green_words) encountered with one of her travelers – "Airstream Tag" (TB6KN7R). Tanjent emailed about the "plus+codes" site (which he found through an Engadget article). Walt mentioned the very difficult puzzle cache by Darth Leviosa – "$100 for 100: Darth Leviosa's 100th Hide" (GC60H65) – which carried a cash prize for the first validated finder and is still unclaimed after 20 days. Next was a reminder about the upcoming souvenir for International EarthCache Day. Then a little discussion about the discovered through another Engadget article. Last during this installment was a reminder that iOS Users should hold off on installing iOS 9 which is scheduled to rollout on September 16th.

JerseyEric called in about THE RAT's lack of a smartphone and listening to this show. Nighthawk700 shared his use of GSAK and the KMLCircles macro with FizzyCalc to maximize cache placements for some new hides. Following that work he discovered the update to Google Map V3 macro which would have made it easier. Michael Miller of the "Cache and Release" podcast attempted to join The Bad Cop and DarrylW4 this week, but due to some issues with the Google+ Hangout On Air wasn't able to participate much. The feedback started with some from Limax about Waterfield Designs bags and the new Geocaching.com messaging service. The panel took a short detour into the Geocaching.com six souvenirs for the summer. Nighthawk700 tipped us off to the name change of the official Geocaching.com app to "Geocaching Backcountry." Then both Jennifer of TeamAJK and Astronut shared information about a new centimeter accurate positioning system in development.
