For the
one-hundred eighth edition of the GeoGearHeads John Robb returns to
talk about lasers and geocaching. On his fourth appearance, John
Robb (of Cache At Night
who caches under
teamvoyagr) shares some of the issues to consider when
attempting a laser-based geocache, advantages, disadvantages, and
some examples. John's first laser cache was "After Dark Duet" (GC24MXZ) which lead him and his
partner to create "BFL Boot
Camp V - Alien MacGyver" (GC2EYDW). So other example laser
caches are "BFL VI - ...in a
galaxy far, far away" (GC35FHF) and "BFL 7: Sin - Blinded By The Light"
(GC40V3B). He also provided
the "Angular Size
Calculator" page for helping calculate errors. A couple of
caches created with their
Laser Loci are "Knights
Templar" (GC4Q90W) and
"GAG20 - Loki (NIGHT
CACHE)" (GC4NWN9).
